Caiman or Cayman(in other spelling) are a animal from subfamily Caimaninae from family Aligatoridae that distributed through Mexico,Central & south America from Marshes, Mangrove Rivers,and Lakes.This animal is one of two primary in Aligatoridae family,the other Primary's is a Aligator.This animal are relatively have so small-size with weight to 6 to 40 kg (13 to 88 lb) except to Black caiman (Melanosuchus Niger) because they can grow up to more than 4m (13 ft) and weight up to 1,000 kg ( 2,200 lb) that make black caiman become the largest species of Caiman in the world and Curvier's Dwarf Caiman (Paleosuchcus Palpebrosus) that can grow up to 1,4m (4,6ft) in Male and 1,2m (3,9ft) for Female make it become the smallest species of Caiman and Crocodilian in the World.This animal are divided into three genus and six species.Below are list of caiman species from their genus:
